- AI Reference: an editable model proposal that never overwrites the Author Outline automatically.
- Context Bundle: the frozen set of sources used by one task.
- Slot: one auditable context source, not total project capacity.
- Skill: reusable rules, techniques, or task protocols.
- Agent: an execution role with a defined responsibility.
- Workflow: an execution graph of nodes, connections, types, and failure strategies.
- Candidate card: a structured proposed change not yet written to official data.
- Checkpoint: persisted intermediate state for a long task.
- Information Library: shared retrieval across prose, outlines, settings, graph, memory, and references.
- Candidate memory: a discovered durable fact awaiting author confirmation.
- Evidence anchor: a source passage that can be located again.
- Manuscript source: facts already written or explicitly stated in prose.
- Outline source: planned content.
- Setting source: world rules and background material.
