Use staged indexing, review, and backups for very long fiction.

Build the project
Separate manuscript, outline, and reference files; import in batches; resolve uncertain classifications; build the four-level outline; extract and merge entities; then confirm important rules and character knowledge boundaries.
Before each chapter
Read the Author Outline, previous ending, current character states, and unpaid foreshadowing. Inspect the actual context being sent and choose the intended workflow and Skills.
After each chapter
Run naturalness and continuity reviews, read the candidate, confirm writing, wait for saving, update character/event/foreshadowing candidates, resolve memory conflicts, submit a version, and export backups regularly.
At each volume end, audit volume goals, character arcs, foreshadowing, duplicate graph nodes, and stale candidate memories; export the volume and run an isolated restore test.
