Install, Activate, and Run the First Check

Installer

Run the v0.1.10 x64 installer, complete the wizard, and launch NovelFlow from the desktop or Start menu.

Portable package

Extract the entire portable archive, preserve its directory structure, and run the executable from the extracted folder. Running inside the archive can prevent the database, logs, or runtime files from being written.

First-launch checklist

1. Activate with a valid trial code.
2. Create a test project.
3. Configure at least one model and run Check Model.
4. Create a chapter, type a few lines, and wait for Saved.
5. Switch chapters and return to confirm the text persists.
6. Import the real work only after this check succeeds.

If startup reports a database migration error, exit, keep the database intact, capture the full error, and follow Chapter 34.
