Foreshadowing Management

Foreshadowing can be planned, planted, progressing, awaiting payoff, paid off, or abandoned.

1. Create the thread and state its intended purpose.
2. Link the setup chapter and source evidence.
3. Update its status when later chapters advance it.
4. Set an intended payoff range.
5. Link the actual prose after payoff.
6. If abandoned, record why so the Agent stops suggesting it.

Reminders support editorial judgment; every small detail does not require a payoff.
