Product Boundaries and Three Core Principles

NovelFlow is a local desktop writing workspace that keeps prose, outlines, story data, graphs, memory, Skills, and Agent workflows in one project. Model output remains a proposal; the author makes the final decision.

Keep three rules in mind:

1. Author content has priority. The current instruction, author outline, and confirmed canon outrank AI reference material.
2. Review candidates before writing. Generated prose and proposed data changes enter a candidate card and reach project data only after confirmation.
3. Retrieve long-form context as needed. A large manuscript stays local. Each task receives selected relevant passages and exposes a ledger of what was sent.

Naturalness scores, reviews, and automated checks are supporting evidence. They do not guarantee flawless prose, perfect continuity, or fully automatic book creation.
